After signing a management contract, heartthrob actor John Lloyd Cruz dropped another “hint” that could surprise his fans.
John Lloyd Cruz is back! It has been quite a long time since the actor came out on TV through films and TV series but now he is ready for his comeback that would surely create a buzz in the Philippine entertainment industry. John Lloyd Cruz recently made showbiz headlines when he signed a contract with fellow artist Maja Salvador’s newly minted talent management agency, Crown Artist Management (CAM). The award-winning actor was seen meeting with Willie Revillame on Monday.
In a recent episode of “Wowowin,” Willie admitted that he had a heart-to-heart talk with John Lloyd in Puerto Galera.
“Gusto ko lang batiin ‘yung kaibigan nating si John Lloyd. Kagabi kasama ko siya, nasa Puerto Galera kami. Nagkuwentuhan kami sa buhay. Tinanong ko siya, ‘Bakit ka ba huminto?,” Willie said in a press interview.
“Burnout ka na. Ito na lang po ginagawa ko araw-araw. Pag gising ko, shooting. Pag tulog ko, pag gising ko, shooting. Yun bang binigyan niya ng halaga yung sarili niya. Dapat ganyan din tayo eh.”
Could this be a sign that John Lloyd Cruz, who was once one of the most iconic actors in the industry, is planning on making a showbiz comeback? And if the speculation is true, will John Lloyd Cruz appear in the Kapuso Network soon?
John Lloyd last big project was back in 2017 when he starred in a movie with Sarah Geronimo entitled “Finally Found Someone.” He then took an indefinite leave of absence in October 2017. Shortly after staying away from the limelight, news broke that the 37-year-old actor was living a private life with actress and model Ellen Adarna, with whom he has a son named Elias.
This photo makes one clear statement: John Lloyd Cruz is back! The Kapuso network is ready to welcome him. On the other hand, GMA Network hasn’t confirmed anything yet so let’s just wait for their official announcement.
