This post is to tell you a little about myself and what I intend to feature in this blog going forward.

My name is Jose Nies. I am an Information Technology professional working in the field of Information Security as a Senior Security Risk Analyst. I’m a Certified Payment-Card Industry Security Implementer (CPISI) with years of experience in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Internal Audit. I champion the importance of information security by leveraging proven and tested IT frameworks and assessing risks that can have an adverse impact on confidentially, integrity, and availability of business assets.

Aside from the fact that blogging is one of my income streams, I put up this blog site to serve as my journal where I will be sharing stories about food, farming, recipes, travel and also trending news around the globe; not to mention some random stuff that would come across my mind.
